Adrien Brody is the youngest Oscar winner in the world
Adrien Brody
Forty five years and do not feel them at all. Born in New York, Adrien Brody is the youngest actor to have won the Academy Award for Best Actor, for The Pianist by Roman Polanski.

Adrien can already boast collaborations with other important directors such as Spike Lee, Terrence Malick and Barry Levinson. He is very attached to the Big Apple and his family, he is an only child and for the moment he has no intention of getting married. However, she has a beautiful girlfriend, the young model Lara Lieto, known last summer in Saint Tropez. "Clothes may seem cool, but it's just what you do with them that defines your style: you have to feel them, you must possess them. Style can be there or not, as well as sensitivity ". And it is precisely on this subject, the relationship between fashion and style, which has meant its own.

What does style mean to you?
It means having the right look, not just wearing it. Style also shows our sense of humor or its lack, goes beyond fashion, represents our cultural influences and offers a deeper insight into our individuality and what we are aiming for. Fashion can be there or not, and sensitivity with time can change: but if you have style, elegance will remain forever.

Do you have a special memory related to shopping?
Yes. I once bought a dress for the premiere of one of my films from Domsey's, an old vintage clothing store in New York. I do not know if it still exists. It happened before the arrival of any sponsor or brand partner: at the time I was a troubled actor, but I managed to find a very nice three piece suit that fit my body perfectly, for just over 20 dollars. I put it on and drove to the Lincoln Center, where the projection was. Really a great satisfaction.

Do you have a style feature that sets you apart?
I like fashion, I can not deny it. I have a look to wear for any mood, or almost. If I'm painting, and it's happening often these days, I'm wearing jeans, a hooded sweatshirt and a hat. In the city, however, I like to dress in a casual way, even if I do not despise formal dress. Tonight, however, I will go to the Opera with my mother, and I will probably wear a tuxedo.

If you had to define yourself in terms of style, what word would you use?
I do not think it is very elegant to find flattering words to define oneself.

What do you think about watches?
I have always loved Chopard's timepieces: they have a perfect balance between masculine style and refinement. In a concept? Classic elegance. I grew up loving cars and the whole world of engines, when I was younger I wanted the Chopard Mille Miglia model: bold, sporty but very chic. In the pictures for Esquire (below, ed) I wear the Chopard L.U.C watch: beautiful.

Is a connection between fashion and cinema in your opinion?
Yes. And it's very clear. In part, it is due to the fact that the fashion industry needs actors and celebrities to wear their clothes and add an element of glamor to their looks. On the other hand, actors love the relationship that is created between them and the designers of luxury brands, to feel fashionable, at all times. On a deeper level, however, I can say that clothing offers the ability to feel and look different.
