![]() Freely inspired by the work of the Barber of Seville, the pièce by Gianluca Bettarini unfolds the sails of modern language to explain the old. Theater, dialect and lyric Sunday, January 6, in collaboration with the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Ravenna, we pay tribute to Gioacchino Rossini with the show "L’inutil precauziòn or ... Il Barbiere di Siviglia". The meeting of the text, the soluura of the tradition of this multi-annual event, is an original and nonconformist pièce that involves, in a transversal way, the theater, dialect and lyric music.The author of the text in dialect is Stefano Poderi who it is inspired by Cesare Sterbini’s libretto while the Rossini music is performed live by the Ensamble Italian Academic. The direction is by Agostino Vincenzi. The dynamism of the text together with the brilliance of the Rossini opera make this show a unique spectacle of absolute originality not to be missed. ![]() Friday, January 4, at 21, the cultural center of San Sebastiano will be the theater of the "New Year’s Concert", organized by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Druento. This time it will touch a "Il Barbiere di Siviglia", a drama in two acts by Gioachino Rossini, with the participation of the "Modern Ensemble" directed by Gioachino Scomegna and Sherrie Anne Grieve (Rosina), Emilio Marcucci (Figaro), Claudio Ottino (Bartolo) ), Alejandro Escobar (Count of Almaviva alias Lindoro) and Gabriele Bolletta (Don Basilio) The artistic direction is a cure of the cultural association Musicaviva di Druento. ![]() It has been repeated and the show that the Feline orchestra of Ponte Felcino has offered to the citizens has been judged by all to be superb: merit of Maestro Franco Radicchia, deus ex machina of the "Virgilio Puletti" Philharmonic Academy of Ponte Felcino, which has a a tailor-made program for the Rossini year that has been closed; merit of a band that is increasingly credited more and more wind orchestra able to deal with any kind of music brilliantly; and merit of the opera singers who have interpreted at best and with disarming ease a not easy repertoire of Rossini arias taken from the first act of the "Barber of Seville", the famous opera composed and staged by the Maestro Pesaro in 1816.Merited and prolonged acclamations welcomed the performances of Tullia Maria Mancinelli (soprano), Giulio Boschetti (baritone), David Sotgiu (tenor), Alessandro Avona (bass), Diego Savini (bass) and Alessandro Zucchetti (solo guitar). Applause also for Sandro Allegrini who has now given up the tight clothes of the presenter to assume those of storyteller and narrator. Great is the satisfaction of Raoul Bonaca, president of the Philharmonic Academy "Virgilio Puletti" that, assisted by a bevy of successful collaborators, carries out this mission with generosity, competence and willpower. |
